We had a most enjoyable evening yesterday at the Shakeel Badayuni musical tribute. We thank you and the Trustees of the Ibaadat Foundation for organising such a wonderful event that brought back golden memories. We look forward to several such memorable shows in Dubai in future.

It was pleasure attending this great evening, I enjoyed a lot the retrospective music and Shayari. The artists were great especially who sang the songs for Mohammed Rafi and Lata Mangeshkar. It was a very calm and quiet evening with beautiful audiences and the stage with recurrently changing colourful lights. Overall it was a feeling of home country for a moment in a foreign soil.

I wish to thank you for giving us an opportunity to be part of remembering Legendary Poet Shakeel Badayuni on his 100th Birth Year Anniversary. It was amazing to know about the greatness of the poet and a learning experience of depicting expressions and emotions of Joy, Sorrow, Love , Patriotism or Worshiping God through words of poetry. The most memorable moment was the rendition of Mere Humnafas ...my all-time favourite ghazal of Begum Akhtar and the realisation that the Shakeel in the last sher was the very same person...Wow. I must compliment you on the creativity of your script...the seamless transitions and knowing so well how much of which song you want to include ...in case of some compositions a hint of the song is enough and for others nothing less than the whole experience will do. The format itself is so engaging - the living room conversation of music lovers -Great job!! ...and the voices of Sarvesh and Suprriya totally nail it. More power to Ibaadat ...may you keep spinning the magic you do in your inimitable style.
