Let me first of all thank you for an opportunity to witness this show (a privilege which we are blessed with for so many years). I am working with Hindustan Petroleum as Chief Manager and I write poetry (mainly ghazals) and got my maiden booked published in December. I will look forward to meeting you in your next visit to Jaipur to have the privilege of handing over this book to you personally and may be if you can join us for lunch/dinner or even a cup of tea/coffee, depending upon your convenience. The show was truly amazing, Selection of songs and singing (especially Supriya and Sarvesh were simply superb, not undermining other singers who were also very good). The commentary with fillers from the son of Rajinder Krishan and daughter of Madan Mohan was just too good. The icing on the cake was the song by your grandchildren; we were amazed with their chemistry and synchronization. I can go on and on in telling the good things (or superlative things of the show) and could not find any flaw in the same. I can sum up with one sentence that I will seek a few hours from death if it comes to me before the show so that I can watch it. I shall look forward to more frequent shows and your invites in future. I will try and explore if I am able to contribute by way of some sponsorship for such shows on the part of my organization. It was indeed wonderful to attend another great program. You really go to great lengths to make it so enthralling! As always, the entire show was so well curated and so beautifully presented, that not only myself, the entire audience remained spellbound throughout the show. Hearing 16 songs in full and 74 songs in part gave the utmost pleasure. The singers were all truly excellent. I liked some new ideas viz. the song presented by the Haldea children, the dialogue-acting by the two singers, and the medley of songs. The selection of songs and narrations of life story of Rajendra Krishan made the show so interesting, that the two and a half hour time passed as though it was a few minutes! This was my first Ibaadat program, due to our Bangalore location I was unable to attend your programs in Jaipur, Delhi, and Mumbai in spite of my visits there. This time I made sure I did not miss it. I was completely bowled over by the quality of the songs, the presentation style that you had, the enthusiasm and skill of the presenters and artists, and the research and organization that has gone into this program. As the host, you are at the center of all this and that is great also. The program defies a classification. It combines a documentary and tribute to a great artiste, with entertainment, and a theater-like live performance display. It is a true labor of your love for music. Congratulations on this achievement! I will admit that I barely knew anything about Mr Rajinder Krishan before this Ibaadat, but saw that so many of my favorite songs and old Hindi movies were embellished with his creative output. I had a random thought that if you record such programs for national TV, they will be extremely popular and reach out to millions, it is bound to be an instant hit. Do not change the program at all, only record it. Perhaps you are already doing this? But I did not see any cameras. I cannot offer any suggestions for improvement. My only wish is if I could see some of your older programs for my pleasure and learning. I also heard from three of my mamas in Jaipur that they are big fans and always attend Ibaadat if they can. It was a very well-organized event in all aspects including selection of his songs each of which was very well sung and they were all knit together with interesting anecdotes. One thing remarkable about Rajinder Kishen was that he did not use heavy Urdu or Hindi words in his lyrics yet many of his songs still strike our emotional chords. Rarely does one witness a musical show of such lilting excellence.
