Same goes for the extremely talented Singers. We have been watching your annual shows in Dubai for the past many years and we always look forward to the next event. Further, we can imagine how much time and tireless efforts go into the making of one such show. I understand that you are a Finance professional. Yet, you have delved passionately into the realms of music...this is unique. You and your team deserve all credit for familiarizing the current generation with the melodious and evergreen songs of the past decades! I remember watching an interview with Lataji wherein she expressed her disappointment with the current trend of music and songs and categorically stated that she would not like to sing the current era songs. In the half century from 1930’s to 1980’s, Singers and Lyricists gave us memorable songs which are sung happily even today after several decades. The masses treasured those renditions. My question to you is: Should Singers and Lyricists sing and compose the type of rubbish songs of today because the public likes these or Should Singers and Lyricists sing and compose meaningful songs (similar to the era gone by) and make the public accept them Your view are requested.
